On a HOT 4th of July weekend hanging out in the Lower East Side in New York, we met LaRon Batchelor, an indie film maker who has a cool site called mysmallstory.com. The focus of the site is profiling stories from business owners from various fields discussing what they do and their experiences. After a few hours of hanging on an L.E.S. bench with the ThinkContra crew LaRon rolled up pulled out the camera and we all told our small story. This is my small story, let me know what you think!

Stacey, what impresses me the most about this interview was how well you spoke about your experience; it portrayed depth and you were also able to succinctly provide information about your workshops, which explained the motivation for offering them and how they actually serve those who seek to realize their goals and aspirations – regardless of their profession. I particularly respect the clear statement you made about stoic self determination in the face of “naysayers” born from the knowledge that God is the only one who has final say over his own.

Many warmest regards and continued adulation at your brilliantly unique, brimming light of stoicism and unremmitent determination. I’ve waged my own external and subsequent internal war in regards to affirming myself when others seemed repulsed at my slender frame. Your story, along with an inumerable amount of other deliberatley perfect annecdotes has juxtaposed my intrinsic worthiness that’s trancendant over any external ideal. I know I have my days where it’s a little harder to affirm this, but your short story has given me the determination to not personalize the lack of conciousness from others and continue relishing and making time for the things that bring me happiness and enthusiasm.
Thank you for sharing your light and beauty in spirit and physical likeness
