Lately I’ve been watching the news and noticing young people suicides is on the rise due to BULLYING. Regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender, not rocking name brands, not looking like one of the actors on Gossip Girl, and so on it’s important for us to OWN WHO WE ARE regardless of what anyone thinks! I know it’s not easy for some people who are being bullied, I myself endured a lot of BULLYING, and sometimes it was very hard for me to find that strength to get up, get dress and go to school to face these people. At some point I realized these BULLIES, were not happy within themselves, they had issues of their own and the way how they dealt with it was to put down someone like myself and others who they see is happy and doing their thing. YOU HAVE THE STRENGTH WITHIN YOU, FIND IT AND PLANT YOUR FEET FIRMLY ON THE GROUND STANDING UP TO THESE NEGATIVE PEOPLE. YOU HAVE ONE LIFE TO LIVE, AND YOU WILL GO THROUGH MANY UPS AND DOWNS IN THIS ONE LIFE, DON’T LET ANYONE OR ANYTHING STOP YOU FROM ENJOYING BEING ALIVE.
ONE LOVE
Stacey

I am grateful and honored to be chosen for TEEN VOGUE FASHION UNIVERSITY 2010 alongside some of the best talent in the fashion industry, such as Vera Wang, Jason Wu, Erin Fetherston, Charlotte Ronson, and Rachel Roy, just to name a few.
For the first time, Anna Wintour, VOGUE Editorial Director, is going to lead with a kick off to the event!

I was honored to be the Keynote Speaker at this years QBFFI 2010. The students at Queens are so amazing, not only smart go getters, but they are fun fun fun and for my second year speaking at the event I was not surprised at how much of a great time I would have. After my speak they had a fashion show featuring aspiring student designers which I look forward to seeing I’m a fan of new designers. A wonderful weekend with wonderful people! Vive La QBFFI!!

I use to be insecure about my voice when I was a young girl, I’ve embraced it thanks to my Idols Grace Jones and Nina Simone. I must admit I am a little nervous about pursuing this music thing, however I do believe if you have talents, the world is yours so why not go for it. You never know where it may take you.
I’m reaching out to you my fans to get your feedback. This is an unfinished song I wrote and it’s dedicated to aspiring models and my model colleagues who I worked with before the fame.
Let me know what you think, HONESTLY. BIG FAT JAMAICAN KISSES TO YOU ALL!

On a HOT 4th of July weekend hanging out in the Lower East Side in New York, we met LaRon Batchelor, an indie film maker who has a cool site called mysmallstory.com. The focus of the site is profiling stories from business owners from various fields discussing what they do and their experiences. After a few hours of hanging on an L.E.S. bench with the ThinkContra crew LaRon rolled up pulled out the camera and we all told our small story. This is my small story, let me know what you think!
