I had a wicked time at this seasons World Mastercard Fashion Week (Toronto Fashion Week), I missed a few days due to having the flu but I was able to attend with my niece Madonna and also 4 sweet girls from and event I was a keynote speaker at called RISE ABOVE. The girls had a great time attending their first ever fashion show and fashion week! I look forward to many more Toronto fashion weeks!

This season NYC fashion week was not the liveliest due to the loss of  my best friends brother, Whitney Houston and while in NYC a friend. I attended a few shows (due to a gig) with my guest Miss Black USA Oceilia Gibson, we had a great time attending shows including Diesel, Josie Natori and The Blonds. Enjoy the pics!

The Fashion Design Council of Canada invited me to attend a cocktail event at the Royal Conservatory of Music announcing the new title sponsor of Toronto Fashion Week is World MasterCard. The change in title sponsor switches the name of LG Fashion Week to World MasterCard Fashion Week and includes a new logo for the event that is scheduled for March for the Fall/Winter 2012 Collections at David Pecaut Square. I’m counting on this new venture to give up and coming designers more recognition not to mention putting Canadian Fashion on the map.
